Day 1. We need to get over three mountain passes to reach Tyungur, which is the closest village to Belukha mountain. According to the traditions, we have to stop at each pass and honor the spirits. Our trip is long enough, that is why in the middle of it we suggest that guests can stretch their legs by walking to the cave of Almys-Tuu mountain. After the arrival we can book the bath house and have dinner near the bonfire.

Day 2. The beginning of horse riding part of our дroute. Our loyal Altaian horses help us overcome the prolonged area of a mountain path. The path goes up the right bank of Kucherla river, opening the spectacular views of mountain valleys. Before the sunset we camp in a picturesque place. Discussing the history of exploration of the mountain areas with the tour guide over the cup of warming tea.

Day 3. Horse riding passage. The path goes higher, opening the panoramic view of Kucherla lake. On this day we have to get over Kara-Tyurek mountain pass, one of the highest passes in Russia (3060 m). At the peak of the pass the weather is usually windy and rainy, but when it’s clear. It’s possible to see Belukha mountain in all its glory. According to the custom, you should dismount and make the ritual of worship.

Day 4. A radial hike by foot. An excursion to Yarlu valley – the worshipped place of power, where the stone of wisdom, noted by Roerich, is situated. The valley differs from the surrounding landscape by the bright colors of rocks. After a meditation by the stone the group needs to hike to the foot of Belukha Mountain. The path goes along Akkem lake, winding through the forest zone, goes out to the moraine and behind the chapel of Michael the Archangel, leads the group to the glacier.

Day 5. Going back to Tyungur. After an early breakfast, the group needs to do the longest hiking passage in the tour. The mountain path on the left bank of Akkem river can be a real challenge for stamina in a rainy weather. That’s why the tourists should set off for hiking with the backpacks which are as light as possible. Near «Three birches» stop there will be GAZ-66 waiting for you to get over Kuzoyak mountain pass by the sunset

Day 6. Today we visit the stone statues of the Turkic epoch near Tyungur village, the House museum of Roerich and the museum of Old Believers in Verkh-Uimon village, also we will have a look at the gallery of gems. A dinner at the café “Ganga” waits for you. There you can also buy the souvenirs from Altaian craftsmen, aromatic herbal tea and Ayurvedic cosmetics

Day 7. Getting back to the start point of the journey with stops at Altaians springs.
